We took the scenic route home from Keighley tonight over the tops to Menston. Brought back some happy memories of travelling to youth activities on this route. Also some hair raising moments too if a certain friend was driving!

  This boy has done a number of assemblies now. Each and every time, at some point he breaks ranks with the rest of the class to come and give me a hug and a kiss. I'll be honest, I'm a conformer so his blatant disregard for assembly etiquette makes me feel like I'm going to get told off by the teachers as well him. First time ever in a swimming pool! Only taken 27 months! To be fair the swimming pool burnt down before he was born and only just reopened. He pretty much wore this expression the whole session and was extremely quiet! I think he liked it?!

FHE last night was on the words we say. We compiled a list of words and phrases we did not want to hear in our home. After about 20 contributions, Ben pipes up with 'We really must not say 'Oh my gosh, just look at her butt!'' (You know the song right?) Needless to say next week's lesson is on listening to good music! Oh my gosh is on the list too!

11/5/15 we began reading The  'real' Book of Mormon (as opposed to the scripture readers) from the beginning. I wonder when we will finish? One of the simple pleasures of life must be listening to your child read with confidence.

I love listening to him read. he read me the Tiger who came for tea as we waited in the Dr's waiting room.

What this photo does not show you is the stopping every 20 seconds and the paddy which ensued because the boys must race everywhere and someone therefore loses. Other than that, our first ever 'everyone is on wheels of some sort' ride was pretty fun! #mcneeadventures

Felling blessed today as I have watched the boys play out all day in the garden. Grateful for their strong, healthy bodies and their innate dispostion to be happy. though they are far from perfectly behaved, in no one else's company do I feel more that I am in the presence of heavenly beings than when I am in their's. #lovemyboys #becausehelives #heishere
